Q2 Recovered 44

PFAS has been a hot topic in the water/wastewater industry as of late. In Texas specifically, there have been legal cases regarding PFAS in biosolids used as soil amendments. This legal and media attention has just as EPA has released a new method (1633) for analyzing and quantifying PFAS compounds in liquid solids and tissue matrices. As Utilities contemplate undertaking PFAS sampling programs, the nature of these compounds, and the complexity of the testing methods, requires thoughtful consideration when developing short-term and long-term strategies. This webinar will lean on industry experts to provide critical information regarding the nuances and intricacies of planning and executing the sampling, storage, and analysis of PFAS in wastewater both in liquid and solid matrices.

This is a joint WEAT seminar, organized as a collaboration between the Biosolids Committee, the Pretreatment Committee, and the Laboratory Committee.
