Presentation topic: “Deammonification: fundamentals and applicationsfrom around the world.”

The presentation will explain what is deammonification,including the potential energy and other cost benefits when compared to otherapproaches to managing ammonia loads. Several examples will be shown fromfacilities around the world doing sidestream load treatment using anammox-basedtechnologies. In addition, the current state of research into doingdeammonification in mainstream processes will be presented.
