Course Description

To provide attendees with need-to-know information on the regulations, purpose and applications regarding the disinfection of Wastewater that are designed to protect receiving waters, the land and the public health, safety and welfare; purpose of disinfection; types of disinfection systems, their respective equipment and modalities; sampling requirements and methods; considerations for safe sampling, testing and chemical handling; documentation of testing and sampling. Various exercises and demonstrations are included to facilitate learning.
