The Texas State House has passed a budget. House Bill 1 was passed unanimously on the evening of Wednesday, March 27th after "one of the shortest budget debates in recent memory." The House also approved withdrawals from the state's Rainy Day Fund to pay for Hurricane Harvey recovery, among other items.
