About Us

The Southeast Texas Section of the Water Environment Association of Texas is the local section of the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT), an open association of water environment professionals, practitioners, operations specialists, and public officials. We are a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with members from a variety of disciplines.

The Section’s officers will work towards accomplishing the following goals for the 2011/2012 season:

1. Develop a new Section website with updated graphics, information and an online registration and payment tool
2. Organize more social events to allow Section members to network and be engaged on a more personal level
3. Conduct Section meetings at local water/wastewater facilities for a more hands on educational experience
