Mark your calendars for the next WEAT YP happy hours!!!

The time for each happy hour is 5:30, locations will vary. We look forward to seeing you there.

Water quality professionals who are either under the age of 35 or who have fewer than 10 years working experience are eligible to join WEF as an Active Member while participating in the WEF Young Professionals Program. This program allows for 50% off of WEF Active member dues, valid for the first three years of WEF membership. This program is available only to new member applicants and will also apply to the local WEF Member Association (MA) dues. Join WEAT as a Young Professional

YP Goals

The Central Texas YP committee has developed some goals for our local group as a whole, and each one pertains to a mission or goal developed by the state co-chairs.

The following the goals have been set:

• Use University of Texas ties to increase student participation and develop a student chapter
• Perform PE application process seminars
• Coordinate a winery tour, to include the water/wastewater processes
• Perform community service acts, i.e., Habitat for Humanity and National Engineers' Week
• Happy Hours for social interaction
